Hickman, Williams & Associates (HWA) is currently seeking a Project Surveyor to join our team in Bend, Oregon for a permanent full-time position. HWA is a civil engineering, surveying, and land use planning firm established in Bend for 34 years, specializing in private land development and public works projects. Position Summary:

The successful candidate will have the ability and technical skills to work both in the office completing surveying tasks and performing field operations when necessary. Typical responsibilities will include preparing partition and subdivision plats, boundary surveys, ALTA Surveys, topographical mapping, preparing legal descriptions, and construction surveying. Candidate needs to be knowledgeable in all phases of land surveying and map preparation, including principles of boundary control, land surveying tecniques, deed and survey research, and have good written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate will also be proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D and have a good understanding of GPS and conventional survey data collection and processing.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 5 years minimum experience in land surveying
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor preferred, Oregon PLS a plus
• Knowledgeable in both field and office survey workflows
• Proficiency using Autodesk Civil 3d
• Proficiency using Trimble Business Center and Trimble Access a plus
